Changes in operation of public transport, parking lots and customer service centres during Christmas holidays
„Rīgas satiksme” informs about changes in the operation of public transport, municipal paring lots and customer service centres, and the use of working day monthly tickets during Christmas holidays.
Public transport (tram, trolleybus, bus)
On December 24, 25 and 26 public transport will run according to holiday schedules.
Those passengers having bought monthly tickets for working days shall take into account that these tickets will not be valid on December 24 and 25.
Customer service centres
On December 23 the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 will be open from 8:00 till 17:00, the remaining six customer service centres will be open as usually on working days – until 19:00. The customer service centre Brīvības Street 191 will serve legal persons from 8:00 till 14:30.
On December 24, 25 and 26 all customer service centres will be closed.
On Sunday, December 27, the customer service centre at Spīķeru Street 1 will be open from 10:00 till 16:00.
Parking lots
On December 24. 25 and 26 pay parking lots operated by „Rīgas satiksme” will be available free of charge, except the underground parking lot at Kr.Valdemāra Street 5a where parking services will be charged for according to the current tariffs.
On December 27 pay marking lots will be open as usually on Sundays – parking lots in Old Riga will be open from 6:00 till 24:00.
Minibuses, night transport
On December 24 25 and 26 minibuses will run according to Sunday’s schedules.
The night transport will be provided in the nights of December 25/26 and December 26/27.
